Partnering with Jesus and families to see kids know and grow in Jesus as Lord and Saviour!

A loving space where parents can be confident that their littles will be well cared during the service. Drop your babies off before heading into the main service and pick them up when it is finished.

A fun place where toddlers can be free to play and interact with other kids their age. Each week kids sing songs, play games, and hear from God’s Word in a way that is age appropriate and engaging. There is also lots of time for free play as Sprouts runs for the whole service.

School aged children begin in the main service with their caregivers and are dismissed mid service to join their classmates and teachers in the hall. Saplings then head to the playground for some free play time. After this they move to the classroom where they engage with God’s Word in an age appropriate way through teaching, song, and activities.

Those in the Orchard class start in the service with their caregivers. Once the kids are dismissed, they join their classmates and teachers in the hall and Orchard students move to their classroom where they engage with God’s Word in an age appropriate way through teaching, song, and activities. Through the morning they also spend some time in the Woodlot Playground.

Caregivers are asked to sign kids in at the Check-In Desk before heading in to the service. The Woodlot will open for Check-In at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
When you come into the Woodlot, you will find our friendly volunteers ready to assist you in signing your children in. During this process you will receive a sticker for each child to wear with their name; you will receive another sticker with the names of your children that you hold onto so that you can pick them up at the end of the service.
If you have children in Seedlings or Sprouts, you will be able to lead them into their classroom after you check in.

Seedlings (Birth - 24 months)
Caregivers walk their littles back to the Nursery where they will be asked to fill out more information that is pertinent to the nursery staff.
Sprouts (2yrs - 4yrs)
Caregivers can walk their children into the Sprouts classroom
Saplings (JK - Gr 1) and Orchard (Grade 2 - 5)
Children stay with their caregivers in the service until dismissal. Teachers meet their classes right outside the doors of the Auditorium to take attendance and lead them to their next activity.
All of our classes except for Seedlings use curriculum provided by The Gospel Project for Preschool or Kids. Regardless of age, our children all hear the same lesson in an age appropriate and engaging way.

TBC is a member of Plan to Protect. All of our volunteers go through a screening process which includes Vulnerable Sector background checks, abuse prevention training, and an interview. Further, all of our classrooms adhere to an adult volunteer-to-child ratio that is tailored to each age group.
