Youth Ministries

Temple Baptist Church Youth ministries is a fun, relaxed way to help teens in their relationship with God, as we teach God's Word to them, and also develop an atmosphere where they can come alongside other Christian teens and encourage each other.  Through weekly Bible studies we are able to help them deal with issues they are facing, and also to give them a Biblical foundation that will last for the rest of their lives.

Be a Model Spa Day

Ever wondered what it would be like to be a real-life model? Come and learn at Temple Baptist's Be a Model Spa Day! We will be learning what it takes to live the life of a model in the fashion world and in every day life! This action-packed day will include getting pampered, a photo shoot, lunch, a fashion show starring you, and a guest speaker Alicia Smith, a fashion model who will talk to us about how the world views women and how we should view ourselves based on God's perspective.

Gravity Breakout 3.0 ++

Coming up on March 23 is a "CAN'T MISS Event". Breakout - Version 3.0 is happening right here at Temple Baptist Church, starting at 7:00, so make sure you are here before that. After this, we are going to play LazerTag at LaserQuest in Kitchener. Then, just as you think we can't possibly have any more fun in one night, there is more.  Pizza, competitions, video games, and just chillaxin' with your friends as we are sleeping over at the church.  After breakfast in the morning, parents will then pick up you guys at 9:00am.

Gravity Breakout 2.0

Gravity breakout sessions are designed to expand on the training received at gravity and to further equip students on how to share their faith in the world.

This session will take place at Calvary Pentecostal Assembly.  Meet at the church at 6:00 for a ride to the event.

Snow Camp - Recharge

As a part of the largest Christian camping organization in the world, Word of Life Youth Camp knows how to make a teens camping experience memorable and exciting. Special attention to fun and the ministry of God's Word make it a perfect winter weekend.

‘Recharge’ is Ontario’s most intense 40 hour weekend of excitement and life change. Join Junior/Senior high youth from across the province as they participate in sports tournaments, awesome food and the popular ‘Cardboard Sled Race’.

Breakout and Sleepover

We are going to a youth rally at Maranatha CRC, going bowling at Dickson Bowl then kicking back to the church for a night of craziness. Then, we sleep.
Meet at the church at 6:00pm, and pick up is 9:00am the next morning. Cost is only $15 for everything. Do NOT miss out on this.

Drop-In and Overhaul

Wednesdays are action-packed days for youth.  Wednesday night youth starts off with drop-in (you can find more information about this on the event page), then continues with our Wednesday night evening program.  At Overhaul, we play games, eat food, hang out, learn from God’s Word, and it’s all packed into one hour from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Sundays 4 Youth

Sundays are a vital day for the spiritual growth of youth.  Here at Temple, we have many opportunities for teens to learn and also serve at the church through music, children's ministry, etc.  Here are the youth meetings for Sundays:

 

10:00am - Sunday School

 

Come join us in the Youth Centre for food, and also learning from God's Word.

 

10:45am - Morning Youth Service

 

Every 2 out of 3 weeks, we have a morning youth service in the Youth Centre where we come and worship God through music, prayer, and looking into the Bible.
